The Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to foster and enhance
the economic interests and quality of life of the Coral Gables community.
Created in 1925 by Coral Gables founder George E. Merrick, the Chamber is
comprised of businesses and professionals whose goal is to expand the economy of
the area. The Chamber hosts a variety of events each month, creating an
opportunity for business leaders to connect and strengthen relationships.
Additionally, with approximately 20 committees and subcommittees, the Chamber
offers an array of involvement opportunities. Whether your interests address
independent business development, travel & tourism, the 20/30 group, advocacy or
international affairs, a business leader can find a niche at the Chamber.
The Chamber serves as the voice for local businesses. It also has strong
international roots as approximately 200 multinational companies, as well as 20
consular corps and trade offices, are based in Coral Gables. With the support of
members, city officials, local organizations, and residents, the Chamber strives
to strengthen the types of services available to the community, such as
world-class shopping, renowned restaurants, extraordinary entertainment and
tremendous business advantages.
