Mark A. Trowbridge
President & CEO Chief executive, administrative and fiscal officer of the Chamber. Responsible to the Board of Directors for a full range of activities including coordination of the program of work, organizational structure and procedures, interpretation of policy, strategic planning, communications and branding.
Vice President is responsible for a wide array of leadership functions: membership cultivation and retention, business development and sponsorship sales, committee engagement, office management, community outreach, and other supervisory functions. Represents the Chamber at both Chamber and community events, including ribbon cuttings and speaking engagements.
Director of Finance & Operations Responsible to the President for the overall administration of the internal operations of the Chamber, including such areas as membership, sales, accounting, office space and equipment, and personnel. Supervises accounting functions that include accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger. Responsible for financial reporting, budget preparation and annual review.
Director of Programs & Events serves as the staff liaison to Chamber’s volunteer committees under the Chairman’s, Business & Economic Development, Global Business Affairs and Special Events Divisions, as well as the Trustee Council and oversees all monthly programming. Also responsible for the planning of Chamber’s annual awards programs: George E. Merrick Awards of Excellence, Merrick in-the-Making Awards, Diamond Awards and AXA Advisors Businesswomen of the Year Awards.
Communications Manager Develops and implements all marketing, public relations activities and social media marketing across all platforms. Creates all collateral for the Chamber including event e-vites, press releases, weekly and monthly newsletters, advertisements, calendars, brochures, invitations, etc. Also responsible for the Chamber’s annual publication, The City Beautiful Magazine.
Member Relations Manager Maintains internal membership control and administration. Membership activities include processing of new member accounts and updates, website listings and record management. Responsible for the RE-Connect Lunch, Chamber Involvement 101 for new members and The City Beautiful Awards Program.
Events Coordinator Acts as Staff Liaison to assigned Chamber Committees under the Business & Economic Development Division, Community Affairs Division and Member Affairs Division. Is responsible for assigned events including Wind Down Wednesday, IMPACT Seminar and Real Estate Showcase. In addition, oversees the planning of our annual Rising Star Awards.
Membership Sales Representative Sells the programs and services of the Chamber to existing member and non-member firms, including the sale of new memberships to non-member firms, upgrade of existing member firms and renewals of past due member accounts.
Receptionist Greets foreign and domestic visitors and informs them of the great variety of activities in and around Coral Gables and the Greater Miami area. Handles mail and phone inquiries concerning membership events, relocation, tourism, international trade and resident services.
