Division Vice Chair – Lillian Ser, Ser & Associates

This division is charged with improving and fostering services and programs that create new business and provide opportunities for expansion of existing business. Identifies and encourages emerging industries that are compatible with Coral Gables.

A) Women’s Business Network
Ashley Airaghi, ALGO Law Firm

Meets monthly to organize luncheons featuring informative and engaging speakers that empower women with the latest opportunities for business, self-improvement, and family. Established as a platform to make business contacts. Hosts the annual Businesswomen of the Year Awards in March.

B) Equitable Advisors Businesswomen of the Year Awards

Developed to recognize women in the community who demonstrate excellence in their business or profession, as well as a commitment to serving as role models for other women. Any woman living or working in Miami-Dade County or who is member of the Chamber is eligible to be honored.

C) Diamond Awards

Celebrates all that sparkles about local business! Categories are for Large Business, Small Business, Diamond-in-the-Rough, Non-Profit Organization, Hospitality Entity, Retailer, Global Business, Family-Owned Business, Woman-Owned Business, Healthcare Organization, Technology Company, Sustainable Business. Participating businesses should be located in Coral Gables or be a member of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce.

D) Small Business Committee

Offers members educational tools and seminars that allow them to maximize their success, as well as develop leadership skills to benefit their business’ performance. Hosts a monthly IMPACT Seminar and activations coordinating with Small Business Saturday (November) and National Small Business Week (May), including our annual Summit.

E) Restaurant Committee

A platform for local restaurants and industry professionals within the Chamber to meet, discuss, and build relationships. The committee meets at different eateries in our community to allow an opportunity to showcase fellow Chamber member establishments. The committee provides support to our annual restaurant-centric events such as: Burgerliscious, New Years Networker, Wind Down Wednesday, and more!

F) Real Estate Committee

Organizes events related to both commercial and residential Real Estate, including a Broker’s Reception and other industry focused workshops.
